Energy Management

Energy Management contributes to the financial stability of the University by efficiently managing the University’s energy use while maintaining a quality environment that is conducive to work and study. Primary functions of Energy Management include:

·        Developing long term energy strategies that lessen the impact that energy consumption has on the University; financially and environmentally

·        Implementing energy reduction and alternative energy projects where there is a justifiable financial or environmental need

·        Maintaining current occupancy schedules

·        Collecting, analyzing, and reporting utilities usage and expenditures on electricity, natural gas, coal, water, sewage and solid waste

·        Performing measurement and verification on implemented projects
